Guidance for Cricket at Singleton for players & spectators: Step 2 (from 12.04.2021).
The principle aim in this guidance is to facilitate cricket in 2021 and ensure all our safety.
If you show any of the signs of Covid 19 or have been asked to isolate, please do not come to the ground.
Please enter the ground via the 5-bar gate as normal and park as close and perpendicular to the boundary hedgerow on the right. The Club can be located via the what3words app locator: removal.consoled.nuggets. Postcode: PO18 0HA
Please drive slowly and be aware of other persons/children that are in the ground.
This will be closed. The exception is for access to the toilets, the route to which will be clearly marked and changing facilities for persons with disabilities.
Please bring your own food for tea & drinks as none can be provided. Drinking water can be topped up on request.
4. Track & Trace – legal requirement.
Everyone must register via either NHS or SCC QR codes. This can be done via the QR Codes clearly displayed at the rear and front entrances to the pavilion and at the front corner adjacent to the practice nets. Alternatively, you may register manually at the Club.
5. Match regulations
Please come changed as the changing rooms are closed. Please bring your own hand sanitiser &/or wipes (British Standard EN 14476). For players there will be hygiene breaks every 6 overs/20 mins.
Teams will be based either side of the pavilion in respectively defined areas (home and away). Please ensure you have read the ECB playing guidelines regarding before, during and after the activity:
In the event of inclement weather during a match you must return to shelter in your own car until such time play is resumed
6. If you develop Covid-19 symptoms during the match
Please speak to a SCC member if you become ill during the match & we will support you & find you an isolated place on the ground.
Please use the disabled or ladies wc only for the time being. Access to the wc should be on a 1 in and 1 out basis. Hand gel is provided on entry & exit. They will be cleaned during a match.
8. Spectators not before 17 May 2021
No spectators are allowed before May 17th. A single parent of an U18 may attend for the sole purpose of ensuring their child is happy in the specific organised cricket activity. They should not stay for long.
9.Bar after 12.04.2021
This will open with ‘table’ service only and all must be seated in groups of 6 (or 2 households). No access to the pavilion/bar other than by authorised personnel is permitted at this time.
